Aufgaben

• Delegates responsibilities to the PT Assistant and Aides.
• Performs formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develops goal-specific treatments based on assessment data.
• Submits written treatment regimes coordinated with the physician.
• Updates the plan of care as patient status changes.
• Co-signs verbal orders for PTA when necessary.
• Schedules treatment including frequency and duration with patient and caregiver.
• Coordinates with clinical support staff.
• Educates patient, family, and caregiver on pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale.
