Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial evaluations and follow-up assessments to identify patient needs and establish baseline measurements.
• Developing customized treatment plans based on orthopedic evaluation outcomes, incorporating manual therapy techniques, corrective exercises, and functional movement training.
• Utilizing specialized modalities and manual techniques to alleviate pain, restore function, and improve the physical abilities of patients.
• Educating patients about their conditions and providing guidance on strategies to minimize pain and enhance recovery, including home exercise programs.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all administrative and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our clinic to coordinate multidisciplinary care and optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will be working with a diverse demographic, including active adults, athletes, and older adults, all seeking to regain functionality and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
