Job summary

Mercy Health Center is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and plan individual treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients, and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in compliance with the Oklahoma Practice Act.

The candidate will uphold Mercy's mission and service standards, participate in a collaborative care team, and contribute to quality patient outcomes within the rehab center setting.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma license to practice Physical Therapy or registry eligible.
• BLS certification required; certifications must be current before independent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly; supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as per policy.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahama Practice Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

Education: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy or registry eligible. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical TherapyLicensure: Current Oklahoma license of Physical TherapyExperience:Certifications: BLS certified.
