Qualifications

Memorial Community Hospital and Health System (MCH) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This position plays a key role in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life through personalized rehabilitation plans.

The Physical Therapist evaluates patients referred by a physician, establishes individualized treatment plans, and provides effective physical therapy interventions. This role works collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

What You’ll Do :

  • Shift Details: 40 hours per week, 4-5 days/week.
  • Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients under physician orders following best clinical practices
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
  • Document all patient evaluations, treatments, and progress according to department standards
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources regarding patient care
  • Maintain and manage therapy equipment and supplies
  • Support departmental productivity and cost-effectiveness efforts
  • Participate in program development, staff orientation, and student supervision
  • Attend continuing education courses and provide in-service presentations
  • Engage in community education initiatives
  • Contribute to performance improvement and patient satisfaction efforts
  • Comply with all safety and competency standards

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nebraska
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated motivation, professionalism, and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, equipment use, medical terminology, and documentation standards
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to evolving clinical practices
