Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a Physical Therapist to perform evaluations, oversee assistants, and drive quality improvements across Westside Orlando clinics in a full-time day shift. The candidate will document care with adherence to practice standards and insurance guidelines.

Requirements include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred) and active PT licensure (PT) with experience in orthopedics. BLS certification is required; relocation and sign-on benefits may apply where eligible.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Field of Study: Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Oversees the care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides.
• Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable terminology following standards of practice and insurance guidelines.
• Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.

Job Description

• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants
• Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants
• Shift: Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday 9am-6pm
• Location: Supporting Clinics on Westside of Orlando
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
• Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department policy and procedures.
• Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Doctorate [Preferred]

Field of Study: in Physical Therapy

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Physical Therapist (PT) [Required]
• OR Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]
• 1 + years Ortho Physical Therapist experience is preferred

$66,268.80 - $123,281.60
