Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one care in a rehabilitation clinic at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Per Diem/PRN, day shifts with flexible hours, primarily Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–6 pm and Friday 7:30 am–3:30 pm, with collaboration across physicians and nurses to ensure optimal

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
• Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
• Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
• Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.
