Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Illinois team on a 10-hour shift schedule, with some weekends. You will assess patients, develop plans of care, use exercise, manual therapies, and modalities, and maintain thorough electronic documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and staff, mentoring newer partners, and participation in performance improvement activities, along with delivering trainings for staff and community groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• License as a physical therapist in WI, IL or both if required.
• CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans using exercise and manual techniques.
• Maintain electronic documentation with accurate coding and billing.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor new partners and participate in PI/CQI activities.
• Plan and conduct lectures and training for medical staff and community groups.
