Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Florida Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a team renowned for patient-centered care and advanced clinical services. You will assess and treat patients, design rehabilitation programs, and work closely with specialists across cardiology, family medicine, and sports health to restore function and mobility.

Flexibility across hours and locations is required, including Weston outpatient PT Clinics, Krupa, YMCA, and Parkland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or certificate in physical therapy.
• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Program or related international degree.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the AHA or Red Cross.
• Internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments in accordance with physician referral, ensuring care and safety of the patient.
• Review and evaluate the patient’s response or lack thereof to treatment.
• Make recommendations to the physician relative to continuation or discontinuation of therapy.
• Provide documentation of each patient visit per departmental policies.
• Be responsible for maintenance and care of all equipment and apparatus.
• Be responsible for economical use of supplies, linens and utilities.
• Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit per policies.
• Assist in on-the-job training of ancillary personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or certificate

Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or related international degree

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
