Job summary

Community Hospital OKC is hiring a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma City. The PTA will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care and individualized treatment planning under a licensed PT supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree or PTA training, are licensed or eligible in Oklahoma, and can obtain AHA BLS within 30 days. Benefits include a comprehensive package and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or Vocational Training and Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current licensed PTA or licensure eligible in the State of Oklahoma.
• AHA BLS-HCP within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides goal directed, activity oriented treatment to promote independence in mobility and functional performance.
• Ensures continuation of progress through patient and family education.
• Provides adaptive methods and equipment to enhance performance.
