Job summary

SSM Health Oklahoma City is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic with a focus on sports medicine, orthopedics, spine care, geriatrics, balance and pelvic health. You will deliver 1:1 treatments, including 45-minute appointments, with strong mentorship to support growth and avoid burnout.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, advanced technology use, and comprehensive care planning for movement dysfunctions and pain. Licensure in the appropriate state is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or related as required to obtain licensure in state of practice
• No experience required
• BLS HCP certification within 90 days of employment (or as department requires)

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care
• Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques
• Provides education to patient/family/staff
• Ensures continuity of care with discharge planning and home instructions
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and support personnel
• Maintains documentation of patient response to therapy
• Performs other duties as assigned
