North Boulder Physical Therapy in Golden, CO seeks a Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our patient-centered team. You’ll provide hands-on care, design evidence-based plans, and collaborate with clinicians in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
We offer growth opportunities, a strong benefits package, and a path toward leadership as you build your caseload and clinical expertise. New grads welcome.
For over 40 years, North Boulder Physical Therapy has served the Boulder and Northwest Denver community. Locally owned since 2019 and building on that legacy rather than reinventing it. With four locations (Boulder, Golden, Westminster, Superior) and services spanning manual therapy, sports rehab, dry needling, and post-surgical recovery, patients get comprehensive, evidence-based care close to home.
Join the team and you'll get unlimited continuing education from day one, in a clinic that runs on real values: winning together, owning mistakes, giving back. Our outcomes rank in the top tier nationally, and how you're doing outside the clinic matters to us as much as how you're doing inside it.
This role pays $80,000-$100,800 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.
In addition, we provide:
$5,000 sign-on bonus eligible
Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend
$12,000 fellowship reimbursement
17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure
$10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly
Relocation assistance available
On top of that, you get the standard package, done right:
Medical insurance, with the clinic covering roughly 75% of your premium
HSA option with employer contributions
401(k) with an employer match that vests immediately
Dental and vision insurance
Short-term disability and life insurance options
At North Boulder Physical Therapy you'll get more than a paycheck. You'll get a career path, mentorship, and the chance to work in one of the country’s most beautiful regions. Some highlights:
Clinical autonomy whereyou make the calls on patient care
A new grad mentoring program that builds up your caseload as you're ready for it
Unlimited continuing education and specialty certifications, no budget cap, no approval process
A real path to Clinic Director or another clinical leadership role
Reasonable caseloads and flexible scheduling
Evidence-based care, backed by the technology and time to deliver it
Golden, CO offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and outdoor adventure, nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains with Clear Creek running right through downtown. Residents and visitors enjoy world-class hiking, biking, and rafting minutes from home, plus a walkable historic downtown filled with local breweries, shops, and restaurants. With Denver just 15 minutes away, Golden delivers big-city access without sacrificing the laid-back, community-driven lifestyle that makes it feel like a true Colorado mountain town.
Most of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:
Evaluating patients and building individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities
Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention
Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress
Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it
We’re looking for a PT who genuinely wants to help people move better and wants to keep growing themselves. Ideal candidates have:
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
A Colorado physical therapy license, or eligibility for one
All experience levels are encouraged to apply
Strong communication skills, the kind that put patients at ease
Interest in growing into a leadership role down the line
Current CPR certification
You'll need to:
Lift up to 50 pounds
Stand, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills regularly
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
