Job description

At the University of Rochester, The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in coordination with the Department of Neurosurgery is actively recruiting for an outpatient physiatrist to work closely with Neurosurgical faculty to provide clinical expertise and focus on evaluation and management of spine and pain conditions as well as to perform electrodiagnostic studies in Elmira, NY.

In addition, there is ample opportunity to pursue academic and scholarly activity and interests.This includes support of the education mission consisting of teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and medical students as well as the support to pursue research interests. This position comes with a primary faculty appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine Department of PM&R and secondary appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery.

Ideal candidates would be BC/BE with experience in management of spine conditions and performance of electrodiagnostic studies. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
