Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform a variety of duties including patient registration, ordering tests, and specimen procurement and processing in a hospital setting.

The role prefers 1 year of Phlebotomy experience and expects a high school diploma or GED. Prior hospital experience is a plus, with preferred phlebotomy certifications.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• 1 year Phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital preferred.

• PHEL - Phlebotomy Trained Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on-the-job training or through a phlebotomy program Preferred
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
