Job summary

Nebraska Medicine’s HUB Centralized Services seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support centralized outpatient operations at the DOC and central fill locations in Omaha, NE. You will handle prescription order entry, data entry, and assist pharmacists while triaging patient calls.

Responsibilities include accurate med dispensing and collaboration with pharmacists in a high-volume outpatient setting. Requires Nebraska Board registration and completion of on-job training with some weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete 160 hours of on-the-job training.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult math calculations using a calculator.
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication upon receiving prescription from prescribers and processes all related duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
