OU Health's Nicholson Tower Pharmacy is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician (M-F Days). This entry-level position supports outpatient medication distribution under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will handle data entry, patient profiles, inventory, and basic MTM documentation in a fast-paced pharmacy. Education: high school diploma or GED; license as Pharmacy Technician or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician permit or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical tasks such as data entry, third-party adjudication, maintaining patient profiles, filing prescription documents, and answering phones.
• Fulfills prescription orders by retrieving medications and labeling for pharmacist verification.
• Participates in inventory control, stocking, and preparing purchase orders.
• Assists with billing tasks and basic recordkeeping under supervision.
• Maintains a clean, organized pharmacy environment and reports safety concerns.
