Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Pharmacist to oversee the daily activities of the medication use process in outpatient services. You will collaborate with an integrated team to ensure safe prescribing, dispensing, administration, and monitoring of medications, while supervising pharmacy technicians and interns.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD with AZ licensure and has outpatient or retail experience; familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm D) with current licensure in Arizona.
• One (1) year of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Requires Pharmacy licensure in good standing in the state of Arizona and a fingerprint clearance card.
• Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.

• Collaborate with integrated team members for comprehensive assessments and analysis.
