Enloe Health is seeking a Chief Pharmacist to lead the Pharmacy Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and involves scheduling, supervising staff, and solving clinical drug-related problems within a hospital setting.

The Chief Pharmacist oversees medication storage, preparation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient safety and optimal outcomes across units.

Qualifications

• Register with the Board of Pharmacy as the Pharmacist-In-Charge at their location.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of California.
• Minimum hospital inpatient experience; one year preferred.
• Computer experience with pharmacy programs and with Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical judgment, professional knowledge, and distribution skills in the Pharmacy Department.
• Assist Director of Pharmacy in preparing work schedules and evaluating staff performance.
• Ensure proper storage and preparation of medications in the assigned pharmacy.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
