Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support the hospital and outpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety. Responsibilities include patient drug counseling, meds-to-beds program oversight, medication ordering, inventory management, vaccinations, and other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate holds a current state Pharmacist License; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist License is required.
• Pharmacist degree (B.S. or PharmD) preferred for the role.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the pharmacy department to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide patient drug counseling and oversee meds-to-beds program.
• Handle medication ordering and inventory management.
• Administer vaccinations as assigned and perform other duties.
