Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist to safely and accurately dispense medications and provide pharmacy services to patients in an outpatient setting. The Pharmacist will review prescriptions, counsel patients, manage medication therapy, and support safe medication use.

The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, patient counseling, collaboration with providers, inventory management, and adherence to regulations to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.
  • Active pharmacist license in the applicable state.
  • Outpatient or community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and accurately dispense prescription medications.
  • Verify prescriptions for dosing, interactions, and contraindications.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
  • Communicate with providers regarding medication questions and concerns.
  • Manage medication inventory, storage, and expiration dates.
  • Provide medication therapy management and clinical support as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
  • Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as permitted.
  • Follow state and federal pharmacy regulations and patient safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
