Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited institution.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year outpatient pharmacist experience preferred within last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of pharmacist procedures.
• Deliver pharmaceutical services within facility capabilities and resources.
• Counsel patients on appropriate use of medications.
• Review patient profiles at dispensing to monitor therapy.
• Ensure prescription directions are appropriate; intervene with providers for discrepancies.
• Compound medications as required.
• Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by staff.
• Supervise inventory control of pharmaceuticals and ensure pharmacy security.
• Maintain records and security of all scheduled controlled substances.
