Job summary

Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Qualifying Staff Pharmacist - Outpatient to oversee clinical review, final product verification, and patient education in the outpatient pharmacy. Requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Indiana licensure, completion of APhA Immunization Delivery, BLS, and knowledge of federal/state pharmacy

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Indiana Pharmacist Licensure required.
• Immunization Delivery certificate (APhA) within first year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and Indiana pharmacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Assume legal and functional responsibility for all activities in assigned outpatient pharmacy.
• Clinically review prescriptions, perform final product verification, and educate patients.
• Supervise technicians to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Provide vaccine administration and anticoagulant monitoring as part of clinical services.
• Enter and manage prescription orders accurately within the Epic system.
