Job summary

AdventHealth Deland is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapy services at our Deland, FL facility. You will perform evaluations, create and modify treatment plans, and monitor progress to meet patient goals.

The role requires FL OT licensure, BLS, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. This full-time daytime position offers robust benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Florida or eligible for licensure
• BLS CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques and guidelines.
• Design and implement a treatment plan of care incorporating best practices, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document accurately and timely using CPT and insurance guidelines.
• Provide discharge planning information and follow-up services.
• Oversee OT assistants and rehab aides per regulations and standards.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in practice improvements.
