Pediatric Associates in Homestead, FL is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice. The role features a 4-day schedule with rotated Saturdays, no on-call, and uses EMR eClinical Works. Spanish is strongly preferred and NHSC-eligible site.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency or equivalent.
• Current Florida medical license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care.
• Participate in newborn rounding as scheduled.
• Cooperate with EMR system (eClinical Works).
• Attend to patients with a strong provider-parent partnership.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
