Come join Arbor Therapy's multidisciplinary team as a Speech-Language Pathologist!

Arbor Therapy is a leading provider of therapeutic services across the lifespan in the East and West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. We are currently seeking an SLP for our Glendale clinic location, with immediate needs during or after school/weeknight hours, as well as Fridays and Saturdays. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply! This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, allowing you to work as many or as few hours as you wish, on a schedule that works for you!

Our AAC program is expanding, and we welcome team members who are passionate about supporting communication in innovative ways.

Role Overview:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address areas of need using evidenced-based approaches and individualized therapeutic strategies
  • Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention as necessary to support optimal outcomes
  • Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and resources to support the client's progress and development
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals, including occupational and physical therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
  • Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
  • Provide high-quality mentorship and supervision of students and assistants, as needed

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • Active speech-language pathologist license through Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
  • Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Experience with AAC is a plus!
  • Bilingualism is a plus!

Working Conditions:

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
