Job summary

El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ seeks Pediatric Medicine Physicians to join our outpatient team across 15 locations and affiliated hospitals. You’ll provide high-quality care to El Rio patients in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in clinical specialty.
• Active Arizona medical license with prescriptive authority.
• DEA license for controlled substances.
• BLS certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care and diagnostic services in an outpatient setting.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in the EHR.
• Collaborate with specialists and multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and on-call rotations.
• Supervise nursing staff, residents or physician assistants as assigned.
