Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Gastroenterology is seeking a Staff Physician to provide direct pediatric patient care in an outpatient setting. The role requires MD/DO or equivalent, unrestricted licensure, and active credentialing with Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Services.

The physician will participate in education and clinical excellence initiatives while complying with department policies. Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent pediatrician.
• Unrestricted licensed physician.
• Approval/credentialing from Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Services Division.
• Completion of applicable HR pre-employment and new employment orientation tasks.
• Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Patient care of pediatric patients within the scope of the medical license, education, and experience.
• Examine patients to determine disease and establish preventive health practices.
• Provide effective communication across admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in department/division activities and system learner training.
