Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC required.
• National Board Certification required.
• Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant required.
• NPI, DEA, PECOS, and CURES enrollment.
• Prior PA experience required; colorectal surgery or related specialty preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and other software programs.
• Ability to collaborate with administrative, clinical and academic personnel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• The PA functions in an interdependent role under a delegation agreement and provides patient-centered care across the continuum of treatment.
• This role is in an outpatient clinic.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate care across teams.
