Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to perform comprehensive evaluations, establish diagnoses and prognoses, and create individualized care plans. You will implement treatments, monitor progress, and adjust goals while educating patients and caregivers.

This on-site position requires RI licensure, BLS, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. New graduates are welcome; supervision will be provided as needed, with duties including documentation accuracy, discharge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Active state OT license and BLS certification required.
• Graduates may practice under GOT license with supervision in RI.
• New graduates welcome; clinical experience in rehab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates patients and develops plans of care.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized plans.
• Implements treatment and coordinates rehabilitation plan of care.
• Documents care, monitors progress, and adjusts goals as needed.
• Educates patients and caregivers; coordinates discharge planning.
