Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida seeks licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to provide outpatient therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in senior living communities. This PRN, part-time position focuses on outpatient care and hands-on treatment.

You will work under the OT, helping residents regain daily living and mobility skills while documenting progress and coordinating with the care team. Opportunities for growth and CEU support are available.

Qualifications

• OTA program degree required.
• CPR certification as required by facility/state regulations.
• Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal-driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
