PRN Physical Therapy - Chula Vista is seeking a Licensed PTA for outpatient orthopedics. New graduates are welcome; must hold a PTA license or be eligible for licensure. You will support therapists, implement exercises, and aid in patient recovery at our Bonita Rd. location in Chula Vista, CA.

The role offers base pay per hour with a monthly incentive bonus and opportunities for professional growth within PRN’s network of clinics.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Prior clinical PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home care.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
