Job summary

Jobot in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for outpatient imaging. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, position patients, and ensure high-quality images within a supportive orthopedic specialty environment.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and registered as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Preferred: orthopedic, musculoskeletal or outpatient imaging experience.
• Preferred: experience documenting within an EMR/EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for patients with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Position patients properly while producing accurate, clinically useful images.
• Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before imaging.
• Explain procedures, answer questions and help patients remain comfortable throughout the process.
• Maintain, clean and disinfect radiographic equipment.
• Provide regional office coverage when needed based on staffing requirements.
