Job summary

Jobot is seeking an X-Ray Tech for our orthopedic imaging network in Connecticut. The role focuses on diagnostic X-ray procedures within an outpatient setting, helping the orthopedic team diagnose injuries and advance treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and registered as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Preferred: orthopedic, musculoskeletal or outpatient imaging experience.
• Preferred: experience documenting within an EMR/EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Position patients properly while producing accurate, clinically useful images.
• Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before imaging.
• Explain procedures, answer questions and help patients remain comfortable throughout the process.
• Maintain, clean and disinfect radiographic equipment.
• Provide regional office coverage when needed based on staffing requirements.
