Job summary

Indiana University Health Fort Wayne is seeking a BE/BC General Orthopaedic Surgeon for a new Fort Wayne, IN position. The role is 100% outpatient for two years, transitioning to a 50/50 split, with four 10-hour shifts and no weekend duties.

You will join a growing team with strong referrals and experienced clinicians in an expanding ambulatory center. The candidate should be an MD or DO, ABOS board certified or board eligible, and able to obtain Indiana licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential with medical license eligibility in Indiana.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient practice for two years, then 50/50 split.
• Schedule: full-time with four 10-hour shifts; no weekend responsibilities.
• Strong collaboration with regional orthopaedic team and primary care physicians.
• Estimated 8–12 procedures per week including arthroscopies and soft tissue repairs.
