Job summary

Indiana University Health Fort Wayne is seeking a BE/BC General Orthopaedic Surgeon for a new outpatient-focused practice in Fort Wayne, IN.

The role is 100% outpatient for 2 years, then 50/50, with 4 ten-hour shifts, no weekend responsibilities, and very limited outpatient call. The patient mix includes general ortho and sports, with about 80 patients weekly and 8–12 procedures weekly.

Qualifications

• New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
• MD or DO.
• ABOS board certified or board eligible.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Indiana.
• Desire to be part of a growing Orthopaedic team.

Responsibilities

• General Orthopaedic Surgeon.
• 100% Outpatient for 2 years then, 50/50.
• Schedule: Fulltime, 4 (10-hour shifts). No weekend responsibilities.
• Very limited outpatient call.
• Patient population: Strong mix of general ortho and sports.
• Approximately 80 patients per week.
• Estimated 8-12 procedures performed per week.
