Job summary

PRN Physical Therapy – La Mesa is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedic clinics in the San Diego area. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and you’ll join a therapist-focused team that values patient care, clinical excellence, and professional growth.

We offer competitive pay and incentives, including a base salary of $85,000–$115,000 plus monthly bonuses up to $2,500, plus student loan repayment up to $25,000.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT or MS in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.
