Job summary

The role involves collaborating with a Physical Therapist to restore mobility, strength, coordination and range of motion across multiple Wellstar outpatient sites in Georgia. You will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, document sessions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with active credential.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehab preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and document progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implements the physical therapy treatment plan under the supervision of the PT.
• Selects appropriate treatment activities to progress the patient toward goals.
• Revises goals/plan of care in collaboration with the PT and patient/family.
• Provides discharge instructions, follow-up and referrals as appropriate.
• Documents each treatment session per departmental protocols.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards.
