Job summary

Laredo Sports Medicine Clinic in Laredo, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for orthopedic, post-operative and sports-related conditions.

You will collaborate with physicians, physical therapy assistants, and support staff to provide evidence-based care and optimize patient outcomes, with opportunities for CEU reimbursement and professional growth.

You will need Texas licensure; outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage a productive caseload in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
• Develop treatment goals and progress patients based on clinical findings.
• Provide skilled interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, and education.
• Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and payer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff.
• Educate patients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies.
