Innovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated therapy management organization founded by Joe Sapp, PT, in 2006. We partner with OrthoGeorgia to provide therapy services management. We are seeking a Physical Therapist eager to "Elevate the Experience" by delivering outpatient orthopedic care, evaluating, and treating a diverse caseload including surgical and non-operative patients, upper and lower extremities, and spine cases. The role involves administering medically prescribed treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Our team-oriented environment fosters a positive work atmosphere.
Includes but not limited to the following tasks: reviewing physician referrals, evaluating patient conditions, developing treatment plans, administering manual and therapeutic exercises, instructing and motivating patients, applying physical agents and modalities, evaluating treatment effects, and documenting progress. Also involves patient education, fitting orthotic devices, collaborating with healthcare professionals, supervising staff, and participating in research and community education programs.
Potential supervision of PT assistants or techs as applicable.
Must demonstrate competencies in analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, technical skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, communication, teamwork, leadership, quality management, business acumen, diversity, ethics, organizational support, judgment, motivation, planning, professionalism, and safety. Also requires strong language, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
Must hold an active, current Physical Therapist license, have passed the National PTA exam, and meet state requirements. Willingness to work occasional weekends and possess excellent interpersonal skills is essential. Compassion and a desire to help patients are vital.
Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, reach, and communicate; occasionally sit, climb, balance, or crouch. Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and more with assistance. Vision capabilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise levels. Accommodations available for disabilities.
Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
