Innovative Therapy Concepts (ITC) is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy Management Organization founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. We partner with OrthoGeorgia to manage therapy operations. We seek a Physical Therapist Assistant eager to "Elevate the Experience" by practicing in outpatient orthopedics, treating surgical and non-operative patients, including upper and lower extremity and spine cases. The role involves administering treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability under onsite Physical Therapist supervision. We promote a team-oriented environment for a positive work atmosphere.
Administer physical therapy treatments including manual exercises, modalities, and patient education. Fit and train patients in orthopedic devices. Collaborate with the health team to plan and adjust treatments. Supervise aides, perform clerical tasks, and monitor patient progress through data collection. Ensure safety and compliance with policies.
Must hold an active, current PTA license in the practicing state. Demonstrate skills in analysis, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, professionalism, and safety. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds with assistance. Willingness to work occasional weekends. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills required.
Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, and reach. Occasionally sit, climb, or crouch. Moderate noise level, exposure to moving parts, vibration. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
Associate's degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1-year related experience or training.
