Job summary

Adventist HealthCare in Rockville, MD seeks a Physical Therapist for its Outpatient Rehabilitation department to extend care across the continuum, including acute, outpatient, and inpatient settings. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, with specific eligibility criteria and a structured payout schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland License.
• 1 year Rehab experience preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform an initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care for all patients served in rehab settings.
• Provide, or supervise, therapy interventions aligned with the plan of care and engage patient and care team.
• Plan for discharge considering achievement of goals and provide follow-up or referrals as needed.
• Communicate and document all aspects of patient management with the care team; supervise rehab aides and office staff.
