Job summary

Masc Medical in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient orthopedics. The role offers either full-time or part-time scheduling, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with no weekends or holidays.

A supportive team environment emphasizes compliant, patient-centered care and collaboration with physicians. You will conduct care plans under supervision, document records per state guidelines, and maintain patient confidentiality while contributing to a state-board compliant

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Florida state license.
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departments.
• Execute plan of care in compliance with state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Respond to patient questions to resolve problems and maintain high patient standards.
• Document care and patient information for the medical record per state practice act.
• Fully integrated as the primary member of the treatment team for each case in caseload.
• Follow department policies and state regulations for OSHA and infection control.
• Assist with training Physical Therapy Technicians.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Recognize fall risk/high risk or non-compliant patients.
