Job description

A well-known health system in the Southeast is searching for a neurologist to join its well-established Neurology and EMG Center in Mississippi. This group is dedicated to providing high-quality neurological care throughout East Mississippi and West Alabama to a service area of over 350,000 patients. A new physician can create the practice they want with optional call.


Position Highlights:

  1. Join existing experienced neurologist, who would serve as a great mentor, APP, and a Neuropsychologist.
  2. General outpatient neurology position, with ability to develop neuromuscular/EMG practice.
  3. No call opportunities available (we do Tele-Stroke in our ED).
  4. If inpatient is desired, cover a manageable census (2-5 patients per day).
  5. Services include diagnostic testing (EMG, EEG, and nerve conduction studies) and therapeutic procedures (botulinum toxin, vagal nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation).

About Meridian, MS: A mid-sized town of about 45 to 50,000.
