Job description

An academically affiliated community hospital in Philadelphia is seeking additional Neurologists to join their growing outpatient team less than 20 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia. A variety of subspeciality interests can be supported, particularly if in the context of General Neurology. Those with an interest in inpatient Neurology can also cover 6 weekends per year in the hospital.

Experienced neurologists, as well as those recently out of training are encouraged to apply if interested in learning more. Enjoy the opportunity to subspecialize, immediate volume, and the support of a well-equipped team. The system provides opportunities to be involved in research, teaching, and clinical collaboration alongside the full spectrum of services from primary though quaternary care, and are known for its mission of commitment to community and has gained a reputation for excellence, compassion, and innovation.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Movement Disorders and Headache interests would be a particularly great fit, but all other subspecialty interests are welcome
• NP and PA support
• 8am-5pm schedule
• Approximately 15-18 patients per day
• ½ day administrative time on Fridays
• Up to 6 weekends per year of inpatient call coverage available (optional)
• Opportunity to work with neurology residents in the system (optional)
