Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Registered Nurse Outpatient to join our team in Missouri. Under leadership supervision, you will assess patients and follow established nursing standards, providing care and oversight where needed, including supervising unlicensed staff.

You will greet patients, administer medications, assist with procedures, and educate patients and families to improve outcomes. Travel between system facilities may be required based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state required within 90 days.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Must travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for examination and treatment.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assists provider with procedures and maintains equipment.
• Teaches patients and families to improve outcomes.
• Documents medications, refills, and visits in the medical record.
• Maintains timely flow of patients and responds to inquiries.
• Completes assessments and reassessments in the record.
