Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to assist patient transfers with help as needed.
• Ensures safe body mechanics and develops a plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates findings to determine OT diagnoses and outcomes of care and performs relevant examinations.
• Documents evaluations and plans of care per department policy and communicates with medical team.
