Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team. You will perform age- and diagnosis-specific assessments and provide individualized treatment plans in a fast-paced, structured environment.

New graduates welcome; sign-on bonus options up to $30k. Starting hourly base pay is $36.69. Benefits include medical coverage, 403B retirement with employer match, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Temporary licensure in Montana per State Practice Act.
• Current BLS certification.
• Montana OT license current.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing age and diagnosis specific assessment and treatment relevant to the patient’s/resident’s/client’s individual needs.
• This assessment may include cognitive, sensory, neuromuscular, perceptual motor skills, psychosocial skills, functional daily living and work-related skills, and home/work/community environments.
• Provides education related to the treatment program, disease process and prevention of further injuries to the patient/resident/client and other members of the health care team.
• Delegates aspects of care to the OTA or Rehabilitation aide based on their job description.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
• Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Compensation

Exemption Wage Exempt Starting Wage $77,854.40/annual Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
