Ochsner in Lafayette, LA is seeking an autonomous Occupational Therapist to deliver treatment to patients, evaluate progress, and develop plans that meet patient goals. You will ensure high-quality care, maintain records, and collaborate with a compassionate team to improve access to care.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and an active/state license or eligibility, plus BLS certification.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Current occupational therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs evaluations and provides treatment programs to facilitate patient-specific goals.
• Assesses patient response to treatment and adjusts plans as needed.
• Maintains patient records according to documentation standards and policies.
• Contributes to access to care, patient experience, and quality metrics.
• Adapts approaches to diverse patient populations and maintains privacy and professional communication.
