Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehab department. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, goal-directed treatment plans, and progressive documentation to support recovery and independence.

You will educate patients in the use of assistive devices, provide ADL/IADL training, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Florida State OT License.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience.
• Willingness to pursue project or CEHs as part of professional development.
• CPR certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes patient assessments to determine treatment goals.
• Documents charges and progress in patient charts daily and accurately.
• Educates patients on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Provides ADL/IADL training to help patients reach independence.
• Acts as a clinical resource and mentors junior staff within the rehab team.
