Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital in Enid, OK seeks a Day Shift, Full-Time Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join a mission-driven healthcare team. You will evaluate and treat patients, coordinate care with the clinical team, and document outcomes in a timely, compliant manner.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, Oklahoma OT license or eligibility, BLS/ CPR certification, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Current Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license OR be eligible for license in the state of Oklahoma AND able to practice under the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
• Current BLS or CPR certification upon hire or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Previous relevant experience is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Interprets referrals; examines, evaluates, and develops and modifies occupational therapy plan of care including anticipated goals and expected outcomes for patients.
• Performs a comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and safety assessment of assigned patients as evidenced by clinical documentation.
• Coordinates patient care with other clinical team members ensuring optimal patient care and communication as noted in the clinical record.
• Directs Occupational Therapy Assistants to perform specific components of treatment and interventions and remains responsible for the episode of patient care.
• May act as clinical instructor and or assist with orientation of new employees or volunteers.
• Patient documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with home health policies and procedures.
