Job summary

BJC Medical Group, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a Clinical Triage Nurse for the Women's Care/OBGYN team in O'Fallon, MO. This full-time outpatient role offers a day shift with no on-call, weekends, or holidays, and requires 2–5 years nursing experience with RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include collaborating with PCPs to develop care plans, assessing patients, ensuring protocol adherence, and educating patients. Candidates with a BSN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and Specialists to develop and implement care plans to maximize healthcare outcomes.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Ensures that clinical protocols and patient assessment guidelines are followed per SOPs and compliance.
• Supports providers in documenting patient assessment and treatment protocols.
• Provides patient education and support with verbal and written instructions.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
